Educational Qualification

Candidate Should have 10th Pass + 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Fire. (OR) 12th Pass (Regular Study).

Driving License:
a) Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License; OR
b) Valid Medium Vehicle License issued at least one year before the date of advertisement i.e.01/11/2024. OR
c) Valid Light Motor Vehicle License (LMV) issued at least two years before the date of advertisement i.e. 01/11/2024.

Age Limit

• The candidates’ Age shall be 18 to 30 years as on 01/11/2024.

The selection process includes the following stages:

Computer-Based Test (CBT):

• Comprises objective-type questions divided into two parts:
  • Part A: Focused on questions related to the required educational qualification.
  • Part B: Covers topics such as General Knowledge, Intelligence, Aptitude, and English.

Physical Measurements Test (PMT):

• Candidates must fulfill specific standards for height, weight, and chest expansion.

Driving Test:

• Requires candidates to demonstrate driving proficiency in handling light, medium, or heavy vehicles.

Physical Endurance Test (PET):

• Involves tasks like a 100-meter run, sandbag carrying, pole climbing, rope climbing, and ladder climbing.
• To qualify, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 60 out of 100 marks in this test.

AAI manages 137 airports, which include 24 International Airports (including 3 International Civil Enclaves), 10 Customs Airports (including 4 Customs Civil Enclaves), 80 Domestic Airports and 23 Domestic Civil Enclaves at Defence airfields.
